Pardon Me While I Burst

Sleepovers are socially awkward situations for me. Besides getting use to the surroundings, there are some things you're more comfortable doing at home than in front of people. So there was 6 of us all in the same room. I'm a light sleeper at these things so I'm aware of what I'm doing. Every turn, every sound I know. As the night wore on I was feeling gassy. Now it makes sense to leave the room and release but this was a studio-kind of apartment and the walls are thin. I thought about going outside but the courtyard magnifies the sound. So I decided to just hold it. Then there was this lava lamp effect where you could feel more buildup. After a while my side starting feeling weird and I thought it was working it's way up to my brain. I'm going to actually have a brain fart. Just when I thought it was going to be alright I started to think about something else and I let one go. Here was a dilemma. Do I try to make another sound to try to make it seem like something else or do nothing? I looked around and everyone was still sleeping. About an hour later an alarm goes up and people are waking up. I was in the clear right? But then one girl says she's been up for hours. This means she probably heard it. At least it wasn't the silent but deadly type.
